Coming up at our March 8 concert is a song from NY-based writer Zoe Sarnak:

Zoe Sarnak

Zoe is an award winning composer and lyricist. She graduated from Harvard University where she was awarded the Ann Radcliffe Trust for The Quad, produced at Harvard’s Loeb Experimental Theatre in 2009. Works include: Mixtape, featured in Silent Street Productions 2012 season, A Lasting Impression, winner of Pace New Musicals 2012, workshopped Off-Broadway at the 4th Street Theatre at NYTW in August 2012, winner of the 2013 NJ Playwright’s contest, The Years Between, workshopped in Musical Theatre Factory’s 2014 season and to be presented in New York, March 2016, by the T-fellowship, Landed, a musical film commission from New York Film Academy to be released this spring.

Sarnak is the winner of the 2015 Davenport Songwriting contest, finalist for NY Stage & Film’s Founders award, finalist for the Fred Ebb Award, and resident writer at the 2016 Goodspeed colony. Her music has been featured at The Lilly Awards, Women of Note (NYMF), Cutting Edge Composers and more, and in venues from Playwrights Horizons and New York Theatre Workshop to Joe’s Pub and the Highline Ballroom.

Zoe is currently working on several new projects including collaborations with Marsha Norman, Michele Lowe and Brian Crawley. Zoe can also be found jamming on stage with her folk and indie pop rock band: she.
